  • Trauma

    (Some of) what we would (likely) work on in therapy:

    Building a sense of safety, reducing hypervigilance, reconnecting with your body, creating a new relationship with trust, telling your story (if you’d like), returning from disassociation.

  • Self-Esteem / Self-Worth

    (Some of) what we would (likely) work on in therapy:

    Learning how to trust yourself, practicing self-compassion, identifying strengths/talents/gifts, recognizing boundaries and limits.

  • The Messy Middle (aka Life Transitions)

    (Some of) what we would (likely) work on in therapy:

    Identifying long-held stories about your life, grieving life-paths, locating supports, daydreaming about your wants/desires, practice asking for help.

  • Student Mental Health (tweens through PhD)

    (Some of) what we would (likely) work on in therapy:

    Examine relationship with external validation, balancing academic expectations with your wellbeing, explore high achievement narratives on self-identity, interrogate how people’s response to your school work was internalized, and explore anxiety, depression, stress, thought spirals.

  • Grief / Loss

    (Some of) what we would (likely) work on in therapy:

    Explore ambiguous loss, create grieving rituals, have space to talk about the someone(s) or something you lost, connect with supports, practice allowing in “unallowed” emotions like relief or joy into your loss journey, identify helpful actions for grieving, locate collective or cultural grief in your daily life.

  • Relational Challenges

    (Some of) what we would (likely) work on in therapy:

    Navigate friendships, practice boundary setting, identify your expectations for relationships, learn how to communicate your needs, recognize wounds and patterns repeating themselves, know what activates you and what has you feeling safe.
